Beth Mead pulled one back for her team from the penalty spot in the 35th minute as Wiegman's side headed into the break with only the slightest hope of staging a miraculous comeback. The hosts, however, conceded just once in the second 45 minutes to clinch a 3-2 win.
England will be back in action in the Nations League on May 30 as they take on Portugal.
