A "professional group of travelling burglars" stole Newcastle star Alexander Isak's jewellery, cash and car last April, a court has heard.

ToggleAs per , Isak was not in his Northumberland home when the burglary took place, only noticing there had been a break-in when he returned home and his bins had moved. The thieves broke in through a glass door and stole £68,000 worth of jewellery, £10,000 in cash and Isak's Audi car, Newcastle Crown Court heard.

Three members of the same family, living in Italy, have admitted conspiracy to commit burglary — though a fourth member, Valentino Nikolov, denies the charge. The group had stolen jewellery and clothes worth more than £1 million from a businesswoman on Tyneside and designer goods worth £100,000 from a different woman on Wearside in the previous days.
Isak has been at Newcastle since August 2022, when he signed from Real Sociedad for a £63m fee. He has developed into one of the best strikers in the Premier League, currently sitting third to Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland in the 2024-25 Golden Boot race.
It is a huge period for Isak on the pitch, as he combines his Golden Boot efforts with the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool. Newcastle are aiming to end their 70-year wait for domestic silverware at Wembley on Sunday, March 16.
